Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about Connect by Trado — TradingView automation, CoinDCX execution, the strategy marketplace, and copy trading.
Which exchange does Connect support?
Connect routes orders exclusively to CoinDCX Futures — built specifically for crypto perpetual futures trading in India. Support for additional exchanges is on the roadmap.
How do I connect TradingView alerts to CoinDCX Futures?
Create a webhook on Connect, copy the webhook URL, and paste it into your TradingView alert's 'Webhook URL' field. Format the alert message as JSON with your symbol, side, quantity, and leverage. When your TradingView alert fires, Connect automatically places the order on your CoinDCX Futures account. Full setup instructions are in the docs.
How fast does Connect execute trades?
Connect executes CoinDCX Futures orders in under 50ms from webhook receipt to order placement. The average execution time is 43ms. This covers the full path: receive webhook → parse payload → route to CoinDCX API.
Is my CoinDCX account safe?
Yes. Connect only requests trade-only API permissions from CoinDCX — withdrawal access is never requested or possible. Your API key and secret are encrypted at rest. Connect cannot withdraw funds, transfer assets, or access any account function outside of trade execution.
What does Connect cost?
Connect is completely free to use. There are no platform fees, subscription charges, or hidden costs. You only pay CoinDCX's standard trading fees on your executed orders.
What is webhook trading?
Webhook trading means using an HTTP webhook URL as the bridge between your alert system (like TradingView) and your exchange account. When your strategy fires a signal, it sends a JSON payload to your Connect webhook URL. Connect instantly parses the payload and places the corresponding order on your behalf — no manual clicking required.
What is the Strategy Marketplace?
The Strategy Marketplace is where vetted traders publish their automated trading strategies for others to subscribe to. As a subscriber, you choose a strategy, set your position size, and Connect automatically mirrors every trade that the strategy fires — on your own CoinDCX Futures account using your own API key. Your funds never leave your exchange account.
What is copy trading on Connect?
Copy trading lets you follow high-performing traders and automatically replicate their CoinDCX Futures positions in real time. You set the position size limits; Connect handles every execution. You can stop or unsubscribe at any time. All trades execute on your own account — you always retain full control.
Does Connect work 24/7?
Yes. Connect runs on AWS servers with no downtime windows. CoinDCX Futures trades 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Your webhooks will be processed at any hour, including overnight and weekends.
Can I use Connect without any coding knowledge?
Yes. For the Strategy Marketplace and copy trading, no configuration is needed at all: subscribe to a strategy and deploy your account in a few clicks. Setting up a TradingView alert webhook requires configuring a JSON payload — there is a payload reference in the docs with copy-paste examples.
What trading actions does Connect support?
Connect supports 9 action types: ENTRY (open position), EXIT (close full position), PARTIAL_EXIT (close percentage), FLIP (reverse direction), CLOSE_SYMBOL (close all positions for a pair), CLOSE_ALL (emergency close all), CANCEL_ALL_ORDERS, UPDATE_SLTP (update stop-loss/take-profit), and SKIP (no-op for conditional logic). All actions support market and limit orders.
How do I publish my strategy on the Marketplace?
Create a webhook, configure your TradingView strategy to fire signals to it, then publish it from the Dashboard. Add a tagline, description, performance metrics (win rate, drawdown, returns), and tags. Marketplace listings are reviewed before going live to ensure quality. Once listed, other traders can subscribe and deploy your strategy to their accounts.
What is the minimum margin required?
There is no minimum margin set by Connect. Each strategy on the Marketplace lists its own minimum margin recommendation. CoinDCX sets its own minimum order size requirements per trading pair. Check the strategy detail page or the CoinDCX documentation for the specific pair you want to trade.
Where can I get help if something is not working?
Read the full platform documentation at connect.trado.trade/docs. For specific issues, email the team at team@trado.trade. Include your webhook name, and a description of what happened for the fastest response.
